• Scroll up to the top of the page:

       While reading lengthy mails and webpages are now very easy with iPhone. 

i am sure all those readers who didn't know how to scroll up to the top of page would felt a little bit boring with lengthy mails and webpages to read, but now i am going to show you one the best trick for how to scroll up to the top of the page, its easy enough to perform. you are required to tap the top bar which have battery status and time. so it will scroll up your page to the top, the same mechanism can also be performed for opening URL bar in safari.

• Scrolling up/down with your two fingers:

        Some  webpages contains separate text boxes with their own scroll bars. if you are trying  to move around in one, you can scroll it with two fingers instead of one. That will let you scroll just inside the box and will not affect the position of your entire page.

• Alternate ways to navigate screen:

        One of the best feature of iPhone is it supports multitasking, like if you are working within one page you can navigate between other screen if you do want. Whenever you are working and you wants to navigate between different screens, tap the left or right bottom corner to switch, instead of swiping your fingers across the screen.

• How to move dock items:

      If you wants to move your dock items are add new ones, then it will works for you. thing you need to do is just press and hold any of the dock item icon and then drag them to your desired place where you want to align them.

• Fit-to-screen column, word and picture:

      This features allow you to fit any thing like images, words, and columns to your screen.while  browsing in your safari you can double tap on your screen to fit it's width to your iPhone's screen.

• Changing iPod icons:

        By the default the buttons at the bottom of the iPod screen are "playlists, Artists, Songs, , Videos and much more" you can change them by pressing the "More" button and then tap on the     
"Edit" button in the upper corner. A configure screen will appear with icons for "Album, Podcasts, Audio books, Genres, Composers, Compilations, Playlists, Artists, Songs and Videos". To substitute one of these icons for one that appears at the bottom of the iPod screen, just tap and hold on the icon you prefer and drag it over the icon you want to replace. Tap on done when you're finished.

•     Home button option:  

                A very underused, yet convenient feature is that you’re able to set the function for double-clicking the Home button. By default, this just brings you to the Home screen, meaning no different function than clicking the Home button once.

But if you go to the Settings app then navigate to "General" then "Home Button", you’ll find a few handy options. I have mine set to go to my Phone Favorites but you can also set it to open the iPod app, or just show the iPod controls when music is playing.

• How to change the spotlight search result order:

          The other great feature of iPhone now i am going to discuss and tell you tricks about it, is spotlight search, it is already been improved according to the latest needs, but if you want to make them more relevant to you by tweaking the settings.

         Go to the "setting" menu, then tap on "General" button and select "Spotlight search" you are then presented with a list of categories. by taping the three bar icon next to each catagory, you can change the order of how the phone presents search results.

         One can save his precious time by the given trick to search for his data.

• Lock the screen orientation:

          This great feature is for all those i Book readers who use to read their favorite i Books in their iPhone while laying on the bed or doing some other task along with reading.

         This great feature allows you to lock your screen orientation and avoid your iPhone screen to shift it orientation in portrait and landscape  due to annoying wobble,in certain situations.

  For lock activation, tap on the home button twice, then scroll down to the screen on left, you will see a square gray icon with circular arrow on the far right, tap this to lock the screen.

Note: You'll see a locked icon appearing in the  top right of the display now.

           You can unlock by tapping again.
